Have your say

The Trust exists to work on what island residents actually want. Projects come from community consultation, from members, from residents getting in touch directly, and from the Community Councils. If you think something needs doing, tell us.

Open consultations and surveys

TO CONFIRM: This section is a placeholder. Any consultation, survey or call for views that is open now must come from MICT, with a closing date and a link. Nothing on the old site could be reused here. Until MICT supplies live content, this section should either be filled or hidden – it must not go live empty.

When a consultation is open, it will be listed here with what it covers, who it is for and when it closes.

Suggest a project

If you have an idea for a project, or you think the Trust should be working on something it is not, get in touch. Ideas from residents are one of the main ways projects start.

  • Email enquiries@mict.co.uk
  • Phone 01680 812900
  • Write to An Roth Community Enterprise Centre, Craignure, Isle of Mull, PA65 6AY
  • Message us on Facebook

TO CONFIRM: Should the new site carry an online form for feedback and project ideas? The old site had none. If yes, MICT needs to say where submissions go.

Comment on a service

Feedback on a particular service is welcome too – the shops, community transport, the Ranger Service, the forest. Say which service your comment is about and it will reach the right person.

Comments and reviews of the Ranger Service were collected through the Mull and Iona Ranger Service Facebook page.

TO CONFIRM: Is Facebook still the route for Ranger Service feedback, or should it come through the office like everything else?

Come to a meeting

Members are welcome at board meetings and at the annual general meeting. Minutes of both are published. Joining as a member is the most direct way to have a say in what the Trust does – see membership.

What happens next

TO CONFIRM: The old site does not say how quickly the Trust replies to feedback, who reads it, or what to do if you are unhappy with a service. A short, honest paragraph here would be worth having. MICT to supply, along with a link to the complaints route if there is one.

TO CONFIRM: Build note – every project at the Exploring stage should link to this page, so that people reading about an early-stage idea can respond to it. Add the cross-link to the project template rather than page by page.
